FAQ
Quick answers about War Prints models, scales and materials.
What scale are War Prints models?
Our core scale is 1/32 (54mm), the classic army men size. Most vehicles are also offered in 1/30, 1/35, 1/38 and 1/56 (28mm) so you can match your figures.
Will your tanks fit my army men?
Yes, our 1/32 models are sized for 54mm figures. For larger brands like BMC, CTS, TSSD, Conte, Plastic Platoon or Mars, many collectors size up about 10%. For smaller vintage figures (Marx, Timpo, old Airfix, Matchbox), 1/35 or 1/38 is usually a better match.
What are the models made of?
All of our models are 3D printed in matte PLA plastic, in a single color.
Where are they made?
Made in the U.S.A.: every model is 3D printed in our workshop in the USA.
Are the designs licensed?
Yes. We print artist-licensed designs from creators such as Windham Graves.
Do the models come painted?
No. Models come unpainted in one color, with no markings or insignia, ready to paint or display as-is.
Can I paint them?
Yes. Lightly clean the print, apply a spray primer suitable for plastic, then use acrylic hobby paints.
Do I need glue or tools?
Our tanks currently ship assembled. Our upcoming 1/32 snap-fit tank kits snap together by hand with no glue and no tools.
Are these toys for kids?
They are collectible models and hobby kits for ages 14+. They contain small and delicate parts and are not for children under 14.
Do you take custom requests?
Yes, message us for custom colors or scales.
