t-34-85-korean-war-north-korean-tank
T-34-85 — Korean War North Korean Tank

This is a 1/32 scale model of the T-34-85 as fielded by the Korean People's Army (KPA) in the Korean War (1950–1953). Perfect for army men. It is the same model as our standard T-34-85, printed in one color with no markings or insignia, ready to paint in North Korean colors or display as-is.

The T-34-85 led North Korea's invasion of South Korea on June 25, 1950. Roughly 150 Soviet-supplied T-34-85s served with the KPA's 105th Armored Brigade (soon upgraded to a division), and they spearheaded the drive on Seoul. Early in the war, South Korean and U.S. forces had few weapons that could stop them, until heavier American armor and improved anti-tank weapons arrived later that summer.

For larger army men like BMC Toys, CTS, TSSD, Conte, Plastic Platoon, Mars, etc it is recommended to size up 10% to the true 1/32 scale. For smaller classic toy soldiers like Marx, Tim-Mee, old Airfix, Matchbox, etc, we recommend the 1/35 or even 1/38 if you wish to match the scale of some CTS vehicles. For 28mm tabletop wargaming, choose the 1/56 Kit, which ships unassembled and needs glue (not included).

Contact us for custom requests such as custom colors.

Made in the U.S.A.

FAQ

How big is it? At 1/32 scale it measures approx. 10.0 × 3.7 × 3.3 in (L × W × H).

Is this different from your standard T-34-85? The model is identical; this listing is for collectors building a Korean War North Korean force.

Does it have markings? No. It is unpainted with no markings or insignia.

Complete the scene: Building a Korean War force?
